The basics

With a capacity for 3,080 guests and 1,220 crew members, Ventura is a decent sized ship. She measures 900 feet in length and is 118 feet wide, and cruises at 22 knots.

Voyages on Ventura visit the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Western Europe, Guernsey, and Belgium.


There is a huge range of staterooms available on board, from inside cabins and ocean view rooms, to cabins with balconies and luxury suites.

Every room has an ensuite bathroom, a TV and radio, air conditioning, and tea and coffee making facilities. The suites come with whirlpool spas, separate rooms, and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to your balcony with steamers, chairs and a table.


Head to the Arena Theatre for an array of showsin the venue which spans two decks, including West-End style productions and cabaret performances. The Tamarind Club is the place to go for comedy and live music, and the Fortunes Casino is always there to try your luck.

The Metropolis is an open area that screens video wall displays of cityscapes from around the world, and the Breakers Bar is out in the open and ideal for a cocktail in the sun.

The Tumblers Nursery is open day and night for those travelling with very young ones, the Toybox is where the 2-4 year olds can play, and The Reef and The Green Room are fitted out for kids of all ages to enjoy. The Den is for the young teens, with its video games, drama workshops, sports sessions and more, and Decibels is designed for the older ones.

Plus, don't forget the Oasis Spa, multiple pools, and adults-only Retreat area.


Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White has had a hand in designing the menus at cafe Tazzine and The White Room, and writer/TV presenter Olly Smith has developed the wine-tasting experiences and wine list.

There are speciality restaurants and anytime dining options on board as well for casual meals.
