Dublin Ireland Cruise Port
Cruises from Ireland will arrive and depart from a few different ports depending on the time and size of the vessel.
North Wall Quay Extension - Smaller cruise ships can dock on the River Liffey at North Wall. It’s less than a 10-minute taxi ride into Dublin’s centre from this port. There’s not much here in regards to facilities, but this port does offer free WiFi to passengers.
Alexandra Quay - Larger ships will dock at Alexandra Quay, near the mouth of the River Liffey. There is a city bus service near the terminal, as well as taxis. Port facilities are limited but include toilets and payphones.
Dun Laoghaire - Some cruise lines choose to dock in a completely different area. Dun Laoghaire is a suburb about 11 km south of the city centre. This terminal does, however, offer the most in terms of facilities with drinks, snacks, free WiFi and payphones.
Most cruise lines will offer passengers a shuttle bus service at the terminal - usually at no extra charge. These shuttles go to Kildare Street which is a good spot to start wandering.
