The Regent Seven Seas Explorer will exceed your expectations when it comes to cruising in luxury.
This elegant ship will offer guests a selection of nine all-inclusive itineraries to Australia, New Zealand, Asia and The South Pacific. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is the only cruise line offering unlimited shore excursions in every port, as well as an unrivalled collection of complimentary speciality restaurants. So you can explore and dine till your heart’s content.
A crew of 542 looks after 750 passengers, that’s a high crew ratio compared to guests on board. What does that mean? Better service. The ship also boasts one of the highest passenger/space ratios in the luxury-cruise segment – put simply, it’s a sizeable vessel for relatively few passengers.
Savour the details
One of our favourite parts of exploring a new cruise ship is checking out the heart of the ship, the atrium. The Seven Seas Explorer doesn’t disappoint with it’s powerful first impression. You’ll see a crystal chandelier hanging over a dramatic double staircase and the circular marble floor piece looks like something you'd see in an Italian palazzo.
As you would expect, the wining and dining is gourmet heaven. You’ll be treated to a range of incredible options onboard, from casual al fresco Sette Mari, to the more elegant Compass Rose main dining room. Did you know there is a special self-service cavier station? #LuxeLife
Book in to each of the three speciality restaurants while onboard - the most jaw-dropping in terms of design is the Asian-themed Pacific Rim. A bronze interpretation of a Tibetan prayer wheel welcomes you inside, this remarkable sculpture is the single most expensive piece of art on the ship and it’s so heavy the deck had to be reinforced with extra steel.
At the Culinary Arts Kitchen, you will learn how to prepare a variety of exquisite dishes in a welcoming environment reminiscent of the most prestigious cooking schools in France in both layout and design. Eighteen individual cooking stations sit atop three long curved rows with white quartzite countertops and stainless steel accents. Create complex and richly flavoured dishes during the classes.
As well as including all meals, drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities, Regent Seven Seas' fares include a range of shore excursions at every port. The free tours fill up quickly so it's worth booking them online in advance, or as soon as you embark. The excursions they offer are next level for getting cruisers deeper into their destinations.
Seven Seas Explorer is the first RSSC ship to offer Gourmet Explorer Tours. These foodie experiences are led by the ship's Culinary Arts Kitchen chefs and combine visits to markets or local producers with lunch at Michelin-starred restaurants. Tours are limited to small groups and cost extra – they can be booked online in advance.
You won’t want to miss these spaces while onboard, get the the full luxury experience by visiting:
