Get connected onboard with P&O

P&O Australia has something new and exciting for its passengers, following in the footsteps of Royal Caribbean and Carnival: an all-new menu of internet packages, so they can stay connected during their holiday and share experiences with friends and family at home.

President for the line, Sture Myrmell, said of the new offerings: "While holidays are a great time to switch off, we know that a lot of our guests still like to remain connected during their time onboard, whether it's uploading their cruise pictures to social media, keeping an eye on their favourite news site or sending a quick email to friends at home. With the introduction of these new packages, we're confident that our guests will be able to find an internet package to suit their needs."

Cruise internet packages
All of the packages available are in Australian Dollars, and there are various per-day and per-cruise options - so read carefully! There are different packages for cruises under four days than there are for longer itineraries, and some options are for social media access only: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Whatsapp and Google+.

For cruises four days and under the prices are as follows:

Platinum: Unlimited. $29 per cruise
Gold: Unlimited. $20 per day
Silver: Social Unlimited. $19 per cruise
Bronze: Social Unlimited. $10 per day

For cruises longer than four days the prices are as follows:

Platinum: Unlimited. $99 per cruise or $20 per day
Gold: 500MB. $69 per cruise
Silver: 250MB. $39 per cruise
Bronze: 100MB. $19 per cruise
Social Media: Unlimited. $10 per day

P&O really is offering something for everyone with these new internet extras. Add one to your cruise so you can enjoy staying in touch while at sea! Take a look at the huge range of P&O cruises available and ask your cruise consultant about adding on the internet plan of your choice.

I have enjoyed visiting as much of the world as possible over the years. Europe and the Mediterranean are personal favourites, but there is so much to see very close to our little Australasian corner of the globe- one of my top travel experiences was snorkeling with tropical fish and turtles in New Caledonia! Cruising is a fantastic way to see it all, and we hope to make booking a cruise easier for both first-timers and old salts. From ship tips to destination news and views, we will keep you up-to-date. Happy cruising!
