This one's the big one.

CLIA Cruise Week 2015 is here, and it's brought with it a host of amazing cruise deals. We've certainly had sales before, but this is the big one. Every single line has savings, reduced deposits or added extras on offer - some of them even have all three! Whether you are a first-timer or an old salt, looking for a last-minute cruise deal or planning for a long-anticipated holiday, this is the time to search out and book the itinerary which suits you. What's more, you can become a cruise guru with an exclusive offer from Cruise Sale Finder: the first 500 customers to book during Cruise Week 2015 will receive a free copy of the Berlitz guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships, also known as the Cruise Bible.
Cruise Lines International Association of Australasia is focused on growing and promoting the cruise industry in our region, and the annual Cruise Week is a big part of that goal. From advertising and events to the much-anticipated cruise week sales, the 7th-14th of September will be all about our favourite way to holiday.
With such a wide range of lines, ships and sailings included in the sales, you might have some troubles deciding on the perfect one. Here's an overview of what's on offer from the most popular lines, to aid you in your search for CLIA cruise week perfection.

P&O Australia

Your getaway will go from amazing to extraordinary with a whole lot of onboard credit to spend on one of P&O Australia's five ships. The Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden will be joining the fun in November, and it's set to be a smashing summer - made better by this Cruise Week sale!
As well as up to $300 onboard credit, P&O is offering reduced deposits and soft drink packages. See the P&O cruise week sale page for more details, and you could be sailing away with Australia's own dedicated cruise line in no time. There are so many places you could go with P&O: An adventure on the Great Barrier Reef, a pilgrimage to the Melbourne Cup, a classic tropical island holiday, a journey into Asia or a short getaway to relax and unwind.

Royal Caribbean

You always cruise in style on Royal Caribbean's extravagant ships, and the onboard credit they're offering during Cruise Week 2015 will make your Royal experience that much more amazing. You can get $200 OBC per cabin for cruises around Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Asia, and $100 per cabin for all other global voyages.
With such a huge international cruise line, there's no limit to where you could go. The Caribbean, Mediterranean and more northern cruise grounds are available, but it's what's on offer in our own backyard that's exciting. Tropical islands, voyages to the land of the Kiwis and a range of fabulous domestic cruises mean options for any preference. Take a look at the Royal Caribbean cruise week sale page for more.

What are you waiting for?

I have enjoyed visiting as much of the world as possible over the years. Europe and the Mediterranean are personal favourites, but there is so much to see very close to our little Australasian corner of the globe- one of my top travel experiences was snorkeling with tropical fish and turtles in New Caledonia! Cruising is a fantastic way to see it all, and we hope to make booking a cruise easier for both first-timers and old salts. From ship tips to destination news and views, we will keep you up-to-date. Happy cruising!
