I was employed as the District Sales Manager for Carnival Australia, based in NZ, before setting up Cruises Online, now Cruise Republic, (the owners of this website) in 2008. I am passionate about cruising and have enjoyed many voyages to and around destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, South Pacific and New Zealand. I have cruised on Pacific Dawn, Pacific Jewel, Pacific Pearl, Pacific Sun, Pacific Star, Sun Princess, Golden Princess, Pacific Princess, Royal Princess, Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Silhouette, Voyager of the Seas, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Pride.
I have enjoyed visiting as much of the world as possible over the years. Europe and the Mediterranean are personal favourites, but there is so much to see very close to our little Australasian corner of the globe- one of my top travel experiences was snorkeling with tropical fish and turtles in New Caledonia! Cruising is a fantastic way to see it all, and we hope to make booking a cruise easier for both first-timers and old salts. From ship tips to destination news and views, we will keep you up-to-date. Happy cruising!
I love cruising! It is a great way to see the world and make new friends. I have travelled to Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean, the Mediterranean, South Pacific, New Zealand and Mexico. All of them have been fantastic trips. I enjoy being able to unpack once, being surrounded by friendly staff from all over the world and being able to see several destinations in one trip.
While I’m no cruise veteran, I do have a deep love for travel and fond memories of a certain Baltic cruise I went on many years ago… I think cruising is the ideal way to make sure there are no boring bits in your trip - why waste your holiday enduring arduous air journeys when you can cut through the waves in style and comfort?
