The Stunning Main Port of Eden
Eden is a town on the far South Coast of the Australian state of New South Wales, approximately 230 nautical miles south of Sydney, and situated on Twofold Bay, close to the state border with Victoria. It is a historic whaling town which is great for whale watching around October and November each year. The Killer Whale Museum is Eden’s top tourist attraction.
Water sports are a major attraction in Eden, as are the nearby National Parks and State forests. Bay and ocean fishing are very popular here, as is bushwalking, cycling and 4WDing.

You’ll love discovering this animal sanctuary where the endangered and threatened species are cared for by the passionate staff and ardent volunteers. Potoroo Palace participates in the conservation and breeding programmes of animals who are no longer commonly seen in the wild. Learn more about the koalas, dingoes, emu, pythons, potoroos and other indigenous animals by having exclusive up-close access. This educational sanctuary relies on entrance fees and donations from visitors to help the animals. Another way to contribute is by visiting the Blue Wren Cafe on site. They serve up delicious food and drinks (including vegan options) and anyone can visit. If you have the time before or after your Princess Cruise we recommend the trip to visit. Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre is one of New South Wales’ top marine facilities. Stop in for a visit and discover the wonders of the deep. A not-for-profit, multi-faceted organisation, the centre boasts excellent educational experiences for the young and the young-at-heart. With a passion for raising awareness and in-depth knowledge of the ocean and coast, Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre is an exciting hands-on encounter with interesting displays and demonstrations that fill the daily agenda. As well as indoor activities, the centre provides trips to the nearby rock pools and guided snorkel tours to see aquatic animals in their natural habitats.Perhaps the most ideal location for Eden cruise ship passengers, the centre is just a 250-meter walk from the port.

Eden Killer Whale Museum
Discover the history of some of the world’s most magnificent aquatic mammals at the Eden Killer Whale Museum on Australia’s Sapphire Coast. From the mid-1800s to the early 1900s, pods of killer whales called Australia’s Sapphire Coast home. The museum has documented the history, stories, and interesting facts about the pods over the years and created a superb exhibition collection, showcasing everything from photographs to whale bones. If you have limited time or want to make the most of your visit, guided tours are available. Each one is personalised to suit the needs and interests of the group and is led by one of the Friends of the Museum who are killer whale enthusiasts. The museum is just a few minutes’ walk from the Eden cruise port.

Eden Gardens Country Club
Located in the heart of Eden’s township, Eden Gardens Country Club is in prime position for cruise patrons to visit upon disembarkation. Spend a few hours - or the entire day while your Eden Princess cruise is in port. If you're interested in playing some golf, Eden Gardens Country Club offers a 3 hours Tour Package with 9 holes. If you're not into golf, just take their Kangaroo Tour Wildlife experience, where you can relax around their picturesque golf course and watch various wildlife, including Australia's iconic Kangaroos.
