Ryan General Manager

Favourite ship: Pacific Princess
Best cruise tip: Your cabin steward is the most important crew member on the cruise. Look after them, and they will help make your cruise a very memorable experience.

I was employed as the District Sales Manager for Carnival Australia, based in NZ, before setting up Cruises Online, now Cruise Republic, (the owners of this website) in 2008. I am passionate about cruising and have enjoyed many voyages to and around destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, South Pacific and New Zealand. I have cruised on Pacific Dawn, Pacific Jewel, Pacific Pearl, Pacific Sun, Pacific Star, Sun Princess, Golden Princess, Pacific Princess, Royal Princess, Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Silhouette, Voyager of the Seas, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Pride.

Favourite ship: Queen Mary 2
Best cruise tip: Although cruising is a cashless society it is always a good idea to take some small amounts of local currencies to make purchases when you are ashore.

I love cruising! It is a great way to see the world and make new friends. I have travelled to Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean, the Mediterranean, South Pacific, New Zealand and Mexico. All of them have been fantastic trips. I enjoy being able to unpack once, being surrounded by friendly staff from all over the world and being able to see several destinations in one trip.

Anthony Assistant Team Leader

Favourite ship: Golden Princess
Best cruise tip: Stay on board when you can. If you visit a port which you may not necessarily need to see, use this day to explore the many facilities on the ship. Port days are always very quiet on the ship, no queues, no crowds, no fuss. You can also scoop up some big discounts at the spa and salon!

My family and I have been cruising for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories in life is throwing streamers off the side of a cruise ship as we sail away from port. The transition from leisure cruising to selling cruise was a very natural process. Prior to joining the travel industry, I cruised just about every other year. I have now been selling travel for about 7 years. In my experience, cruising is absolutely the best way to travel.

I have been working on and with boats, yachts and ships for the past 5 years. I love working in the travel industry and have been fortunate enough to be able to visit some amazing places. Cruising is a great way to travel as you only have to unpack once, whilst visiting a variety of beautiful destinations.

Amy Mc

Favourite ship: Crown Princess
Best cruise tip: Get to know the crew onboard your ship especially the Bar Staff. They are the people who know all the best places to visit in the ports of call and they will have lots of handy hints to help you spend your time wisely.

I love to travel and have been lucky enough to see most of the world during 12 years working for Princess Cruises as Food and Beverage Manager. I have a passion for cruising and believe its the best way to go on holiday as you only need to unpack once and you can do as much or as little as you like with your time onboard.

Cam S

Cam S Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Pacific Dawn
Best cruise tip: Ensure you pack a power board. Some cabins provide limited power outlets and if you need to charge several devices it can be very annoying if you don't have enough points

I have been working in the travel industry for almost 4 years. I have been able to travel and experience some amazing things. I have been lucky enough to move to Victoria from NSW in the past couple of years and move forward in my career. I have sailed through many places such as South Pacific, Fiji and Queensland and NSW coast.

Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Best cruise tip: Pack a carry on bag with everything you may need on board in the first few hours, such as your bathers and camera etc. That way you can still enjoy everything the cruise has to offer while the porters deliver your luggage to your cabin.

I have worked in the Travel Industry for just under 3 years and have always had a passion for cruising. I love the ease and ability to travel multiple destinations in one holiday with ease! I developed a love of travel after traveling solo around India for 6 months and I am constantly planning my next trip.

Have been in travel for 10+ years now having worked with Airlines, Hotels and other travel agents, so can offer all round advice. Found my calling with Cruises when I realised the value that it included and the fun times to be had. Packing and unpacking once is just the way I like to travel and is a great feature of cruising. I've been to a total of 27 countries including most of Europe, India and the Middle East

Narelle

Favourite ship: Voyager Of The Seas
Best cruise tip: Get children to check out the kids clubs at the start of the cruise so they can make friends early before "clicks" are formed.

I have been in the travel industry for over 10 years. My passion is cruising, and I have been a cruise specialist for over 6 years. I have a large family, so I specialise in family cruises. Cruising is the most cost effective way of having a family holiday that suits all ages and tastes, and with the cost of food and most activities included, it is very easy to plan and travel to different destinations. Cruising is also great for multi generation travel as well, so travelling with extended family is easy and a great way to be together.

Best cruise tip: You are not limited to one of each appetizer, entree and dessert in the main dining room. You can order two entrees or three desserts if you choose. You can also order appetizer-sized portions of entrees as starters or order a few appetizers for your main meal. It's a great way to try new foods you're not sure you'll like

I have been in the travel industry for the last 6 years, recently taking off two months to travel around the UK and Europe!
