Specs: Island Passage at a glance
At just 138 feet long and weighing 498 tonnes, the Island Passage is small yet spacious - the low guest-to-space ratio ensures you have plenty of room to relax and soak up your surroundings. She can accommodate 24 passengers overnight and up to 200 for private charter or evening parties. Her maximum cruise speed is 12 knots.

Accommodation: Island Passage rooms and suites
There is a total of 13 rooms onboard the Island Passage: 2 solo cabins, 5 staterooms, 4 Ocean Suites and 2 Bridge Suites. Each room is beautifully-presented and spacious - you really can’t go wrong on this ship. With flatscreen televisions, individual climate control and stunning ocean views, your room is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day.

Entertainment: things to do on board the Island Passage
Island Passage entertainment revolves around fine wine, delicious food and even better company. With such a small number of passengers on board, you’ll get to know everyone within hours. The days are centred around shore excursions and activities at the ports, while evenings are relatively low-key, with everyone socialising over a nice meal and some drinks under the stars.

Food: Island Passage restaurants
As to be expected on a luxury cruise ship, the food is spectacular. The chefs make the most of New Zealand’s abundant natural produce, creating delicious meals from local seafood, meat and fruits and vegetables. The majority of the food is organic, seasonal and locally grown, sourced from farmer’s markets and New Zealand artisans. Each meal is matched with fine wines from the cellar and served either in the Anchorage, or on the Terrace, the latter boasting beautiful views of the ocean and scenery beyond.

Destinations: Island Passage itineraries
The Island Passage operates four regular itineraries: Fiordland National Park, the Bay of Islands and Secrets of Auckland in New Zealand, and a Fijian Escape to the beautiful South Pacific. Each itinerary gets you up close and personal with local attractions - the size of the ship means the captain can easily navigate hidden treasures, unlike large vessels which are very restricted. Shore excursions are of an excellent quality, and the ship has been designed to accommodate a helicopter on the top deck - flights are included in your ticket price.
