Explorer of the Seas, Cruising from Sydney.

Exciting news from Cruise Fans

Royal Caribbean have announced some very exciting news regarding their fleet deployed in the Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific region.

Explorer of the Seas will be cruising from Australia from November 2015. This 3,800-guest megaliner is part of the Voyager Class of ships and is the sister ship to Voyager of the Seas. Both ships will be based in Sydney and will share the prestigious mantel of 'Australia's biggest megaliner'. Both ships will undergo massive refurbishments, Voyager goes into drydock in 2014 and Explorer of the Seas will undergo massive refurbishment in March 2015. Itineraries for the 2015/16 summer cruise season with Royal Caribbean will be released on the 29th of April 2014.

Take a look at Voyager of the Seas arriving in Auckland:

Don't miss out on Rhapsody's final season

Explorer of the Seas replaces Rhapsody of the Seas, which will leave the local fleet in April 2015 after eight successive seasons. There will be many people who will miss this local favourite so don't miss the opportunity to book on the Rhapsody of the Seas in her final season.

Radiance of the Seas will return to the region again for the 2015-2016 Australia New Zealand cruise season and continue to sail on her popular itineraries.

Make the most of the revitalisation

Explorer of the Seas will boast a range of wow features when she arrives in the region, having been through a month-long, $100 million dry dock revitalisation. Guests will be able to enjoy unforgettable experiences including: FlowRider surf simulator, a 3-D Movie theatre, a range of onboard restaurants, all new staterooms and luxurious suites and virtual balconies that bring live ocean and destination views into the interior staterooms.
