Azamara Club Cruises, one of the leading luxury boutique cruise lines, has released some more details about the upgrades planned for their two ships next year - and they are stunning! We loved having a peek at what life is like on one of these magnificent vessels with these renderings, and thought you might too.
Life of luxury: plans for the Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest
Azamara Club Cruises has big plans to Reimagine Azamara early next year, with the Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey both going into drydock for complete overhauls in 2016. Of course, it's nothing but the best for this top-notch line, and they have hired some of the world's leading design consultants to help them fit out each and every room to a very high standard.
Every detail on the two ships will be considered, from fabrics to mood palettes. Materials to be used are nothing but the best: real wood, stone and porcelain. The aim is for a timeless and elegant result - we are sure they will achieve it!
The upgrades are also set to include new additions in the form of Spa Suites, built adjacent to the Sanctum Spa. A highlight of these accommodations will be the bathroom windows, allowing passengers ocean views right from the bath tub.
Larry Pimentel, President and CEO of the line, says of the line's planned makeover: "When our guests return to the ship, we recognize the importance of offering accommodations that provide a respite from their adventures and functions like a moving upscale hotel. Keeping all areas of our ships contemporary in design as well as offering services and amenities that match is paramount. This is why we are so excited to dig into every aspect of our onboard offerings during this upcoming dry dock period."
The upgrades are no ugly duckling-to-swan transformation, just a few improvements on ships which are already well above average. Not only are both vessels elegantly and luxuriously fitted out, they also offer gourmet dining, top-notch entertainment, beer, wine and cocktails included in the fare and some amazing destination-focused voyages with unique "AzAmazing Evenings" onshore in select ports to make the visit unforgettable.
Dream it, do it
If a luxury cruise is something you've always wanted to do, your chance might be coming soon. Pre-refurbishment (but still wonderful) Azamara Quest will be sailing the line's inaugural Australian journeys in January 2016, while the Azamara Journey will have already had her makeover when she debuts here in February 2017, giving potential passengers plenty of time to plan.
